Haiku on Friday
Poetic license
once explored, can only lead
to poor sentences
Besides, I find that
people look at me funny
as I count fingers
And too many times
I lose count and do it wrong
then I look stupid
And I need no help
looking stupid. I can do
it just fine in prose.

Oh you are clever. I couldn't put a haiku together for love nor money.
ROFL!!!!! Oh Lou, I feel the same way :) I find myself counting on my fingers reading other people's haiku's! I'm scared to see how long it would take me to do one of my own... I haven't participated in Friday haiku's, yet. Have a great weekend!!!!
I'm notsure if you did this "right" -- I'm too tired to count on my fingers -- but I like your poem!
