I guess if you happen to be in an aircraft incident at SFO, you may be better off staying in the plane - even if it's burning to the ground - rather than taking to the inflatable slide and getting out. 

Because you just may get run over by the rescue equipment.

On the other hand, maybe you want to question the cockpit crew and make sure they have plenty of hours in the aircraft type you're flying in. 

Oh.  That's right.  That's probably not allowed.

Or, you COULD check with the airport and make sure all electronic landing safety equipment and flight landing aids are, in fact, functional and working properly. 

 You know.  Actually turned on.

Because otherwise, the landing of your 14 hour flight could turn into a fatal cluster fuck.
