Today was one of those - a lazy day. The sun was hot and bright. The breeze was stiff, from the South. The sky was a deep blue between the puffy little white clouds.
The morning of the day was perfect for riding a bicycle along the river.
The middle of the day was perfect for riding a scooter out to the next town West and stopping for a soft-serve twist ice cream dipped in chocolate. Medium.
The afternoon was perfect for sitting with Grannie and enjoying the Cubs game - which they won.
The early evening was perfect for taking another short ride on the scooter - just because it was possible to do.
The evening was perfect for falling asleep after supper, waking up in time to post this post.
It was a lazy day. A rare one, at best.

today has been a lazy day here too.
A holiday for the Queen.
Rugged up in blankets, a clear day but cold.
Lazy days are wonderful for the soul
Those are the best kind of lazy days.
But for a lazy day you did accomplish a lot more than meets the eye!!
