I was just looking through my blizzard pictures the other day. It definitely gives you some perspective.

I agree...

I can usually deal with the heat fairly well, but yesterday was suffocating!!

Did you know that I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday? Only, it was more like 'it's SO HOT, I barely remember what winter feels like!'

Now I do.

Like a cool breath of fresh air.

The heat index was 125F here yesterday.

That picture is EXACTLY why I prefer summer.

I hate the heat and humidity of summer, but the dry, cold air of winter is painful on my eczema. So, even though summer makes me sweat, I appreciate that my skin doesn't hurt. :) Thanks for reminding me!

I hate winter for the most part- it's just too long without leaves and bugs and general LIFE. But I really wish I could roll around in that snow right now!

Oh, yes, I remember. Lovely to look at, not so lovely to shovel.

There is a place where it doesn't get real cold or real hot, but it will cost like hell to live there. It is called by some the Left Coast. More commonly known as California.

I never curse the heat. I hate the winter and will renew my vow again this year to try to never say "winter" or "snow." Silly but it helps me cope! Give me summertime anytime! And our cold months are just as bad as Chicago's every year.
