Like 'Seinfeld' - a blog about nothing.
aaaaw, your 55, did you have to remind me???????
haiku! i meant haiku! my mind's stuck on the 55's today, sorry.
I like you poem. As for the B&W photo of the kids, it belongs in the Smithsonian.
It IS lovely in B+W.
I love the story (somehow more evocative in B+W) the picture tells. Paired with the haiku, it becomes so poignant, doesn't it?
It's perfect in B&W!
The haiku and b/w are a wonderful pairing.
A beautiful haiku and a lovely photo. Thank you for sharing, Lou. Have a wonderful weekend!Nevine
Very nice. I like the B&W much better than the color version. The poem works well with it too. Words are often over looked as a finishing touch to an image.
The photo looks haunting in black and white. As for the Haiku...aye, I feel my age these days and ponder how fleeting it all was. (Hugs)Indigo
TOTALLY feeling that today... *sigh*(heh heh heh, my captcha is 'DONSTAB' seems you and your blog know me VERY WELL today!)
Shadow: I knew what you meant.Moneythoughts: Thanks, Fred.Nan: Thank you, Nan. I was struck by that, as well.PattiKen: I hadn't thought of that juxtaposition until you mentioned it.Jientje: Thank you, Jientje.Tara R: Thank you, Tara.Nevine: Thank you, Nevine. I will.Clint: You're right, Sir.Indigo: Yes - it went by so quick.Kelly: Bad day, Huh?
