Friday Haiku - Oh Youth - And Youth in B&W

Haiku Friday

Oh Youth, Oh life and
love so all energetic,
You fade too quickly.

Earlier this week I published a photo and someone had asked to see it in Black & White. So, without further ado ...

I like you poem. As for the B&W photo of the kids, it belongs in the Smithsonian.

It IS lovely in B+W.

I love the story (somehow more evocative in B+W) the picture tells. Paired with the haiku, it becomes so poignant, doesn't it?

It's perfect in B&W!

The haiku and b/w are a wonderful pairing.

A beautiful haiku and a lovely photo. Thank you for sharing, Lou. Have a wonderful weekend!

Very nice. I like the B&W much better than the color version. The poem works well with it too. Words are often over looked as a finishing touch to an image.

The photo looks haunting in black and white. As for the Haiku...aye, I feel my age these days and ponder how fleeting it all was. (Hugs)Indigo
