Actually, it's just that Brian, the guy who works on me and my bad shoulder/rusty elbow, is so really good at his job. I feel so much better since this process started - even though the actual sessions can be rather uncomfortable. This week and next week and then it's done. I can't wait.
More Art lessons coming. I'm taking three vacation days - three straight Wednesdays starting May 28th - and attending specialized classes, given by Marilyn Dale at the Naperville Art League. They will be morning classes from 9am to 11:15am and each class will cover a specific topic. The first will be Ala Prima still life painting - where the painting is done 'all at once'. The second will be Plein Air landscape painting - painting the outdoors while outdoors. The last will be Self Portrait - done from a mirror. At the end of the three classes, there should be one complete painting, for sure (Ala Prima), one painting done or close to done (Plein Air) and one painting in progress - the self portrait. I can't wait.
And now, it's off to physical therapy. I can't wait. (Oh please let the sarcastic tone of that comment bleed through.)
Peace.
