Where did the day go?

I had some things I wanted to do today. As far as I know, I didn't get any of those things done. I was busy, yet If I think back on the day, it doesn't seem like I did very much at all. The Cubs won today and I didn't get to watch much of the game. Things kept taking me away from the game. Run to the store. Watch a video in order to be able to help Zach with a project. Run to the store again. Make Zach mow the front lawn before I take him back to school while I get an invoice issue straightened out with Annie. The only time I've actually had to myself, today, is the time it took to drive back from taking Zach to school.

I'm home now. I'm going to catch up on all the weekend blogging I missed. And relax for a while.

I guess you could be grateful you didn't spend the day in the loo. I did. Yum.

Sounds like you were as busy as I was yesterday! I hope you were able to relax. :)

Catching up on blogs...I have been so busy I have no time to read my favorite blogs or write on my blog. Maybe once we get to Anchorage and get our internet hooked up...

Anyway, I was catching up on your blog and wanted to comment on the Starbucks thing. The Puritanical streak in this country makes me crazy -- the idea that naked is sex, that depictions of the human body without clothes can incite lust (and really, what the hell is wrong with a little lust? Makes life a lot more fun...).

Hope you managed to get some time to yourself. Those sort of days drive me nuts. I hate going to bed exhausted with nothing really to show for it.

I had one of those days today, where I sit here at the end of it and think, seriously, what did I DO today.

Heh.

Weekends just fly by, don't they? Sunday I declared that I would NOT do yard work... for just ONE day of the week. But I've gotta say, I'm glad I've spent the last 10 days working so hard, because now when I'm laying in my hammock with a margarita (and kids screaming Mommy! Mommy!) the view is very much worth the work!!

Now if you'll excuse me,I've got a lawn to mow.

Time flies by like crazy.
Does it go faster and faster or is it just my imagination?

I know the feeling.. Take some "me time" before you dive in to getting blogging done. Relaxation is so important!

I hate days like this. I always feel like I didn't get much of anything done. Hope you had a chance to relax for a bit.

I hate it when there's so much time and so little to do. Strike that. Reverse that.

One thing leads to another and next thing you know, you're far away from where you started and from where you want to be. ~sigh~

The Cubs won again tonight (Mon)! YIPPEE!!

Witchypoo: Yum? More like EEEWWWWW.

Elizabeth: I was. I did. which is why I'm so far behind on my blogging.

tiff: Thank you. If there's anyone who needs some me time it's you. You know, you time not me. Annie would kill me. Sorta. Actually, you know she DOES keep telling me to get a girlfriend. Although long distance relationships never work out.

Julie: Be sure to send up some smoke signals when you get to Alaska. And they make me crazy, too.

Kelley: Me too.

Veronica: We KNOW what you did today.

hyphen mama: Lift that barge - tote that bale.

nicole: No, it's not. And there's research that proves it.

Talina: Yes. It is SO important. Just hard to do.

Sandy: A bit. A bit.

Emily: You really know the way to my heart. The CUBS. Now just tell me you drink beer and we've got a thing goin' on!

You're speaking my mind, Lou! Wait, isn't blogging "me" time??? Maybe not. Maybe that's my problem. Off to overanalyze!
