He approaches her door, his heart is thumping in his chest, the blood pounding in his head has faded his vision, his hand is trembling in anticipation. He is going to see her. Her touch is enough to make it hard for him to breathe, he grows faint at the slightest whiff of her scent; to kiss her is to suspend time as their lips brush each other, the softness of her expended breathe on his lips leaves him unable to move lest he move too far away to feel it. He approaches. He has come to court and spark.
The above is in response to the 100 Word Challenge authored by Velvet Verbosity. With apologies to Joni Mitchell, whose album named 'Court & Spark' gave me my idea.
Okay, one picture today. It's the only theatre experience we had where I was allowed to photograph inside the theatre, and even then, only prior to the start of the show. What you see below is the stage on which 'Wicked' is performed in London. As impressive as it looks, the actual show was even more so. I wish there was a way to share what I saw with everyone. I am sorry that this is the best that I can do:
Click on tha picture and pop it out full size. There's a lot in there.

That is a really cool set. I really like the dragon. Did he breathe fire?
Very evocative 100 words, too. Wow.
Julie: No - he just hung there. Set the mood, I guess. And thank you for the comment about the 100 words. I wasn't sure ....
