Monday Meanders 3-29

The weather is almost good enough for outdoor work. I can't wait. (It's still really hard to do sarcasm in print.)

Because the weather still isn't quite good enough for outdoor work, yesterday I did INSIDE work. We have a room which has become a collection point for 'stuff' and it needed to get cleaned out. And my Cousin Diane thought it would take two years. (Apparently, na na na nana doesn't translate in print, either)

It was a busier weekend than I thought it would be - Saturday I had to go to the office to install some new equipment before I met up with Heather of Singing With My Heart. We had made arrangements to meet, she got misdirected, and we wound up meeting HOURS late. We did meet, though, and had lunch, and I got her restarted in the proper direction. She is a lovely person - we sat and talked for an hour.

Heather will be back in Chicago in May, with new hubby, Curt, in tow. I will meet and take plenty of pictures when they come up to the city.

It's Monday. Sorry. But have a good week.

Ndinombethe.

Better weather means yardwork. We all know how much you hate yardwork. But it will also mean you get to play golf again! Yaaay!
How nice to have met yet another blogger!

Sounds like a busy weekend indeed.
And the sarcasm and 'nanananaana' crossed over perfect :)
Gotcha :)
Have a great week!

Yes, it is Monday (UGH), but one day closer to Friday!
By the end of the week, our temps are going to be in the 70's. Maybe too warm to work in the yard...lol. Just nice enough to relax & enjoy the sun.
Have a wonderful week!

Weather great here. Whopped butt on the property and even helped the Little Woman dig the zero turn radius mower out of mud.

We managed to spread 43 bags of mulch Saturday. While hubby was resting, I took the kids to the parks afterward.

Sunday morning was rainy, but the sun came out, but it was too wet to be outside, other than the running trail.

Cold and wet, but it will change. Warmer weather is just ahead.

We get your weather about a day and a half later. It's still too chilly to do any substantial yardwork.

It was a bit rainy here on Sunday, I spent the entire day cleaning carpet... ahhh... spring cleaning at it's best.

So jealous of your visit with Heather. I really need to take another trip to Chicago.

I have several collections of "stuff" tucked away here and there, all crying for attention like the whiny little nudges they are.

Wanna come over?

It's nice to get that junk room cleaned, isn't it? I have been attacking the closets and my living room is a collection of everything that needs a new home. Most of it is finding a new home in a donation bag!

Jientje: GOLF!!! and Heather was fun to meet with.

NicoleB: Yes - it was busy. But a good week is coming.

Collette: Yes - one day closer to Friday/payday.

Audubon Ron: LW Does the LAWN? I'm gonna come live with YOU.

Emily: Running? And nobody's chasing you?

Moneythoughts: Thank you, Fred. A welcome reminder.

Joyce-Anne: In that case - day after tomorrow ought to be pleasant for you.

Tara R: YES, you do!!

PattiKen: Oh sure - we could have like a cleaning party. (does anybody hear that?)

Tracey: Or the garbage - which is where a lot of that room is winding up.

Not so much, but if you come upon anyone saying that, invite them along. There's plenty of... um, fun, yeah, that's it, fun to go around.

:) You are fun, and so full of wonderous knowlege on how to get back from the city. I am still slightly embarrassed that I got LOST in MY CITY! *cheeks color* But then we never would have went to that hole in the wall german place, which was super tasty!
