I'm going to have some fun tonight. I'm going to take a couple of bicycles to a Cub Scout meeting and show them some basic stuff - how to patch an inner tube, how to lube a chain, how to tighten a chain, and how to adjust the seat and the handlebars/
I'm going to bring a couple of bikes to the meeting, set them up on kickstands, demonstrate what I'm teaching, and guide those little hands through doing some of those things.
This is going to be fun.

That sounds like a fun evening. Enjoy!
I am sure the boys will enjoy learning how to do their own simple repairs... I even know of an adult who would like to actually learn some as well..!
