Working on ...

Let's see ... things I've been working on ...

Aside from responses to certain writing prompts and artistic challenges, I have been working on ...

developing a reliable method for embedding audio in a post, here on Blogger.  There turns out to be several methods for doing so, but not every method works for every browser.  I'm working to avoid the emails which would tell me the audio doesn't work.  I'm just sayin'.

getting Grannie's new collection of stuff photographed and deployed on her Etsy site.  I'll let everyone know as soon as that happens.

rewriting 'Sarah'.  I'm about halfway done - I'm hoping it still has the same appeal as a 'book' as it had as a serialized story.

rewriting some elements of "The Kid".  Although I have restructured "The Kid" as one whole story, rather than the serial it originally was, there are elements of the story that are/were weak - the opening scene, for example.  It is critical that the style of writing established in "The Kid" carry over into "Sarah", especially as now "The Kid" has become the opening and prologue chapter to "Sarah".

getting the Coot Scoot ready for Winter riding.  I suspect that this Winter is going to present any number of opportunities to ride and the scooter needs to be ready - fresh oil, changed gear oil in the rear, and new gaskets and belts.  Simple stuff, really, but it needs to be done when the weather is reasonable.

repairing the pull start on my snow blower.  Actually, I'll finish that this weekend.  One must be prepared, mustn’t one?

If you judge the winter weather "scoot-able", be wary. Bikes and scooters are more prone to the invisible ice that is on the road during cool weather and there has not been a lot of traffic...

Looking forward to "Sarah"... miss her and the gang..!

What Big Mark said... be careful 'scooting' around this winter.
