Repudiation

That one word says it all - but not for Mitt Romney, himself.  He was a surprisingly viable and respectable candidate.

This election is a repudiation of the Republican Party and their Tea Baggers.

Unless and until the Moderates in the Republican Party resume control - unless and until the Radical Right is relegated to the sidelines - unless and until the Conservative Christian becomes less important in the Party - these defeats for National Office are just the beginning.

Thank you, America.  For helping me re-elect Barack Obama.

I hope that you are right about the influence of the Christian zealots and their deep-pocketed backers are heading the way of the dinosaur... I miss moderate politics... why can't there be someone I like as much as Ike..?

Republicans need to get out of people's bedrooms, bodies, and private lives. They killed themselves right there. And realize that the white male is soon to be the minority in this country. And that they need to get the sticks out of their asses and, I don't know, get a sense of humor so that they seem less robotic.

Oh, and? I was glad Obama won, but I was sad that Gary Johnson did not secure %5 of the vote. That could have allowed the Libertarian party to receive federal funding and recognition for debates. It could have turned the 2016 election on its head. Alas...
