Monday Meanders

The weather for the last couple of days has been lovely.

I got out on the Coot Scoot.  My nephew took his chainsaw to most of the growing stuff in the back yard.  And we spent all of yesterday afternoon and early evening switching cell phone companies.

Several years ago we switched to US Cellular, and since that time we have been very happy campers when it comes to the quality of our cell service.  So, then, US Cellular, reflecting the infinite wisdom of their new CEO, decided to sell the Chicagoland and St. Louis markets to Sprint.

I am a US Cellular fan.  Not Sprint.  Going over to Sprint would cost me a fair amount of money and I don't like their service.  And, just to seal the deal, Sprint has an offshore call center.

Still, yesterday seems as though it was an unnecessarily painful process.  Long a painful.  Why?  Why must it be so ridiculously difficult to change phone companies?  My goodness, it's worse than changing blogging platforms.

Last year we switched from AT&T to Verizon. We dropped Sprint for our landline and just went with cell phones. It is all too complicated for my Pooh brain to keep straight.
