... we get closer and closer to full tummies and nap time after dinner, Black Friday, followed by Grey Saturday and Off-White Sunday. And then, of course, Christmas Season starts in earnest.
On the other hand, if we don't start the Christmas Season in earnest until after Thanksgiving, I'd really like to know what the heck they call what we've been living with since the middle of September.

We are staying home for the holidays, but my college kid took a 13-hour road trip to get home. I was nervous from her initial 4:30am "I'm headed out" phone call until she came through the front door.

You think that it has been "Holiday mode" since September..? I just have not been very attentive then... Or maybe it has been X-Mas for you since the NFL season has begun...
