Very melancholy. This makes me want to go to the beach to make sand castles.
I agree with Tara that there is a melancholy to this haiku, but it is also hopeful as I envision making that last sand castle of the summer with the one I love the most and her boys...
Beautiful, Lou. Deep - life is often like a sand castle in the sand. We can rebuild after the tide - newer, bigger, better . . . :)
