The Coot Scoot is making me crazy.
There's this part - it's called the "Boss Pin". It's stuck on the crankshaft. I've frozen it. I've heated it. I've used a gear puller. It will not come off. I'm being tested. Tested, I tell you. And I'm not doing very well.
The thing is, I can't ride until this particular job is finished. I have to replace this part. By hook or by crook I HAVE to get this done. If this is a contest, I MUST win. If this is a test, I MUST pass - I will not fail. I cannot.
It was such a gorgeous day today. Pleasant temp and puffy clouds in an otherwise sunny sky. I couldn't ride. That made me sad. I worked at it, I can't get that part off - and that made me sad.
Your favorite things aren't supposed to make you sad.

WD-40 or duct tape... one or the other works on everything.
I hope you'll get it fixed soon. After that, the fun begins!
