Photo365, Day65


As water flows over the dam
a bridge pylon stands against the flow.


This dam raises the level of the DuPage River
to backfill water into the I&M canal's now sealed
locks. When the canal was in use, the locks were used to
raise and lower barges into and out of the DuPage.
