I was reminded of a quote I'd heard many years ago, last night, and it's been stuck in my mind.
It's funny how, at times, we look to the words of others to express feelings we have, understandings we have achieved, that we somehow can't articulate, but having heard it uttered by others, it makes immediate sense and impact.
This is what I heard:
