Near to the shed I've published photos of here, sits this old barn. No longer used for the stuff of farming, it and the grain store sit side by side, waiting for whatever ever fate awaits them, the houses that grew in the fields they supported now giving shelter and support to the children that have taken the place of the crops.

I love old barns! I look forward to seeing more in this series.
I used to love playing in my grandma's barn, a skeleton from the farming past.
Lou, I am woefully behind in my reading, but I just had to say...love that picture; and that second sentence is really most beautiful.
