Friday night, some of us gathered at a Mexican Restaurant in Bloomingdale, IL. We were there to "Kick Cancer's Ass", and to honor someone who has.


There was Farah of Du Page Mamas
and Tracey of Just Another Mommy Blog

There was Brandie's Lovely (and Young) Mom.


And then there was the Star of our Gathering, Brandie of A Journey of 1000 Stitches begins With Just One. And she's wearing one of the hats that Grannie made for her.

Nice. Cancer is most at risk from a positive attitude and the support of those who love you. Sounds like Brandie has it all going for her.
