This day is a rare day because I'm actually posting on the day - rather than posting the evening before and scheduling for 12:01am the next morning.
I was working on a post last night - I'd written a poem - and when I tried to save it Blogger went all wonky on me and lost everything except the original version of the first two stanzas. I was pissed. There was NO WAY I was going to be able to re-create that piece - it was very stream of consciousness - and then heavily edited - and it was gone.
Phooey.
I put the computer away and went to bed.
So, today I've been cleaning the garage and getting it ready to be my winter bicycle workshop. Only problem is going to be ... no heat.
I'll just work on warm days.

Oh pooey. I hate that kind of thing. It's like losing valuable art. Or so I like to think.
I've only written one poem in my life and I've NEVER shown it to anyone. I have no idea if it's good or not. I'll probably never know.
Oh! DANG! I get so cranky when that happens. I am certain it was beautiful.
Aw, I'm sorry. I've liked the poetryyou've posted.
No heat? Did you get the snow that is trying to bury us now?
That is the worst when blogger goes wonky. The absolute worst!
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I hate it when that happens
I just saw the cutest little heater for a small space- it looked like a stove that goes in a fireplace, logs and fire and all, and it pumps out heat. Every workshop needs one.
Saying that you are going to work on the warm days in the winter is nearly admitting that you won't be working on the bike at all... still live in the Chicago area, right..? :0)
