A calmer day

Yesterday I was a bit upset. I'm calmer now. And on to other things. Besides, my Grandmother used to say it's always darkest just before the dawn - it's damn dark out there - and now? Now it's time for dawn.

I've been thinking a lot about Social Media, lately. Twitter, Google+ and Facebook. They take a lot of time. I think my time is better spent here.

Plain and simple.

Of course, I will have to keep up with some of the group stuff - I'm not a TOTAL hermit.

Ndinombethe.

Yes, here, with your friends. Seems like more of a dialogue here. Somethings are worth getting riled about, including yesterdays object.

Sometimes a sojourn from social media is the perfect prescription to life. I know I've missed my connections with friends, yet I've gained some internal perspective in my absence. (Hugs)Indigo

I agree 100%. I don't like it that my funny words are lost to the void. In fact, I was just planning on going through my old tweets of funny things my kids have said/inspired and making a post out of them. I don't want that gone! I want it saved! That's why I WROTE IT DOWN.

Socialize more by commenting on my blog. That'll make you feel better.

The "social media" have a way of turning us into pretty anti-social critters. It's a good thing to step back and breathe.
