Monday Meanders 4-25

Saturday, Melisa and I wandered into Millenium Park a little before we actually met up with Melissa and her Hubby, and we took some pictures. Here are some of them, stored in Picasa and lightly edited in Picnik, the online editor.

Above is an example of why we really, really, really need an inexpensive 'tilt and shift' lens for DSLR's.

Another reason for 'tilt and shift'. Lightly cropped to place the young man at an intersection of thirds.

This, I think, is the best shot of the bunch. I hope you like it as much as do I.

And these days, a camera in your hands in Millenium Park means a shot of the bean.

And maybe, just maybe, you get a shot of pigeon poop running down the Bean.

The last shot I took was of an unusual perspective of the Marina City Towers. Not often seen like this, are they.

Very cool shots, Lou. I'm glad I'm not the only one who lies on my back, shooting up into the buildings.

I like the one with the young man. The mysterious woman in the building seems to be smiling on his frolics.

I liked them all by my favorite was the one with the little boy splashing the water.

To answer your question about the "strangers" series, it's because I must introduce myself and get at least there first name and a little bit about them, like where they are from or something. It's my own rules for myself.

Awww... you're making me miss seeing my friends and Millenium Park. That was one of my favorite places when I visited Chicago.
