Haiku Friday - Wasp 12B

Haiku Friday

Planet Wasp 12B,
where Sapphires rain from the sky,
Eaten by its star.

Hubble telescope,
our eye on the universe
showed us Wasp 12B.

Space is a strange place
stranger than we imagine,
stranger than we can.

Please note - there is a page with guidelines for Haiku Friday. The link is on top of the right sidebar of this page.

There is something about the immenseness of the universe that is at once overwhelming yet pulls me towards it even though it is beyond me...

I checked out the Hubble site, that is a very cool image... a star 'eating' a planet.

My entry is here: Fairies

It's the "back of beyond" that is most intriguing to me. Infinity promises an infinite variety of coolness.
