Essentially, taking over Haiku Friday means keeping the Avatar meaningful - and add McLinky so others can find other Haikus Friday. So that's what I'm doing. I've 'appropriated' her jpeg for Haiku Friday. The jpeg is not mine. It's hers.

An ancient celebration

Perfect 'ku, Lou. :)
So glad you are keeping this going. I have had zero time this week to actually put together the kind of post I wanted, but I always have time for a quick haiku. You may have just saved me from falling back off the bloggy wagon. :)
I've already gone through my first bag of Halloween candy. I really shouldn't get any more.
Loved the 'ku, very appropriate.
They don't celebrate Halloween here in India. Damn, no left over candy!
No Halloween in Italy but a few friends have decided to celebrate anyway! Now would be a good time to remind readers of the Haiku rules. I forget.
I Like it! Gets me in the spirit for Halloween!!!
Boo! Heh. A Halloween haiku, who would have thought?
Sorry I didn't join in this week. Was down in Massachusetts all day yesterday and on a 3rd grade field trip today. Please don't get discouraged by the lack of linkage - it'll pick up. I promise to participate next week.
Liked it! It surely gets me in the spirit for Halloween!

I find it interesting that this post came two days before a family gathering... (giggle giggle)
