100 Word Challenge - Fingers

What follows is in response to the 100 Word Challenge, authored by the nimble Velvet Verbosity. The word this week is "Fingers".

100 Word Challenge

Speak To Me

You touch my temples
to ease my pain
smooth away the tension
that often lives there

You massage my shoulders
kneading tightness away
easing, for a while
my accumulated strain

You rub my neck
gone cold and stiff
you share your warmth
your blood warms mine

Your parted lips brush my ear
your breath tickles my skin
raises goosebumps
in the hairs of my arms

Your deep dark eyes
bind and capture my gaze
and send shivers down my spine
take my breath away

You touch me with your lips
your eyes
your fingers
speak to me with your heart

Enticingly heartfelt. So many forget to listen to the heart, which says so much with so little. (Hugs)Indigo
