Wordless Wednesday - More or Less

I know, I know - this is supposed to be Wordless Wednesday. But listen. July 15th is Grannie's 84th birthday. A friend of a close friend is coming back to the States for a visit and she's bringing Grannie a thimble. From India. Because my close friend told her how Grannie collects thimbles. And I thought to myself - I have friends out here from EVERYWHERE!!! Hey. I want to add to Grannie's thimble collection for her birthday. I just have to figure out how this whole thing might work - if any of you have any ideas, I'm willing to listen.

Meanwhile ...

Peach Girl

My favorite shot from ACEN.
She was a vendor,
working in the "Peach Girl" booth.
I think she's gorgeous.

What a great idea! Now, where could I find a thimble that says NY on it?

I'm surprised Grannie has not been contacted by BP for a thimble to help clean up the oil spill.

I like the photo. It reminds me of a political campaign video from California. : )

Peach Girl is just peachy! (Sorry, couldn't help myself.)

I love the thimble idea. I'm sure you will come up with a creative way to present it. Be sure to tell us about

Hey Lou,

As I said in my email, she won't be getting back here for a couple of weeks and she did warn me she may not send it right away, being busy recouping from jet lag and visiting with friends and relatives she hasn't seen in awhile. I'm keeping my fingers croosed that it gets here in time!
