with the approach, now, of Spring.
The Sun warms my face.
Spring's first harbinger
has finally taken place.
The Ump cried "Play Ball!"
Long and hot summer
will erase the memory
of this transition.

You're a magician with words.
Aaaah yes. Spring. It's probably my favorite time of the year, anticipating a long hot Summer ... Looking back it might turn out to have been a long WET Summer, but right now we still have dreams! We had six snowflakes here this morning!
;-)
I am looking forward to spring as well. The snow is melting & I hope we have seen the last of the snow. But, I am in Michigan so anything can happen.lol
It was so good to hear Pat & Ron on the radio yesterday. the game was even a good one, they won!! 9-3. Let's hope they keep it up.
You have my vote. I'm all for spring to start.
SPRING! It's coming!
Yup. I agree with Jientje. Definitely a magician!
I can hardly believe the sun is out right now at 5:30pm. I'm loving it!
The day I noticed the sun setting later was the day I knew Spring was on its way. Love the haiku.
The crack of the bat - a sure sign that spring is almost here. I'm going to see the Red Sox (Go Sox!) play a spring training game next week. Just hope I don't need gloves!
I realized we're bearing down on the Spring Forward time change. We've been able to get outside and play the last few days. Am loving it!
Super Job on the Super 'Ku.
I always am amazed how easy it is to forget the cold when it's July, and how easy it is to forget the sweltering heat when it's January.
When I walked outside to 60-degree weather, I grinned with glee.
