Wordless Wednesday - Juxtaposition

Jet over St. George's Chapel, Windsor

St. George's Chapel is actually two chapels, one behind the other.
The small chapel, far right, houses Jane Seymour's tomb
in the floor.

What a magnificent structure. I like that you caught the plane flying over it.

Joyce-Anne beat me to the punch. I like the contrast of the period architecture and the jet plane too. They knew how to design and build chapels in the old days!

Love the juxtaposition of the old and the new.

P.S. I've lost your e-mail address (a casualty in my recent computer seizure), but I want to let you know that Nobody's Home is home on my blog.

I wonder where that one was headed to? I always wonder when I see an airplane!

Such a beautiful chapel. The architecture is breaktaking.

Joyce-Anne: It is an amazing place. No cameras allowed inside.

Moneythoughts: That place is as solid as a rock.

Calicobebop: yes, it is awesome.

PattiKen: That's the idea the old and the new.

HollyATOM: Yeah, I know.

Jientje: It was headed west.

Tara R: It is that, Tara.

Beautiful architecture! The jet looks a little out of place, like from the future, above the beauty of the building(s). :)
