Friday Haiku - Season of Change

Haiku Friday

The seasons now change
The trees growing more naked,
The weather, colder.

Days can be dreary,
Evenings come quick, dark too soon,
The moon, bright and chill.

Leaves lie underfoot,
porches are bare of flowers,
Summer decor gone.

Soon will come winter,
Then will come Spring, but first comes,
this season of change.

I like fall, a beautiful time of the year. Love seeing all the different colors of the trees and the winter sky is beautiful too.

See what happens when I've got more than one window open? My previous comment was intended for Thursday's post.

As far as seasons... I just wish autumn would last about 3 months longer.

So true. So beautiful.

This part of autumn is when I get this underlying feeling of dread. Perhaps it's the lack of sun, but I'm already looking forward to Spring.
