Friday Haiku - Five, Seven, Five

Haiku Friday

Haiku comes in the
form of five, seven and five,
odd and ungainly.

Life and emotion
Don't always fit the form of
five, seven and five.

Our biggest aches and
pains don't always follow the
shape five, seven, five.

Neither then do our
joys fit it any better,
that five, seven, five.

But that's Haiku and
if you're going to use it you
must five, seven, five.

Nicely done. You have a way with words, especially in 5-7-5 form.

Awesome! I had to go back and fix two of my stanzas today because they were five-six-five. That's what I get for trying to haiku during conference calls!

You really are very good at these. I'm amazed how much emotion and empathy you can put into 17 syllables.

I used to have a young boss who tried to Haiku her afternoon appointments. She was good, but she was not as good as you are!

Am I an immature 12 year-old boy for thinking the word verification of "forpla" is funny? Yes? Okay.

You know I love the haiku. If anything doesn't fit, you make it. Or add an extra stanza. :) I need to get back to haikuing. I miss it.
