Channelling Lou Costello

"I've been a baaaad boy." So said the little fat man as his taller, mustachioed partner berated him for one transgression or another.

And I have been a bad boy, as well. And like that little fat man, not on purpose.

It's just that all of my routines have been disturbed to the point that they are no longer routine. My blogging routines, that is. I keep getting a little lost. And confused.

I'm trying to move everything over to Reader. And slowly, but surely, that's happening. I am emptying my bookmark list and emptying the Google pages where all the RSS feeds have been displayed and if it was only one computer it would be easy-peasy.

But I never do anything simply. There are several computers involved - and that is also the primary reason for moving everything into Reader. Because then each and every computer I might use to access the Internet and read my blogs, will be working from the same updated list. A good idea, but getting there means that, because my routines are disturbed, I am no longer sure of what sites I've seen on a day and which remain to be seen. Except the ones in Reader.

So, like the little fat man, I stand before you with my hat in my hand, crestfallen, because I know I have failed to live up to expectations. I don't get to everyone as I should. I've been a baaad (Love ya, Lou Costello - but I hated your radio show) boy.

But I WILL be better.

Ndinombethe.

Lou was always my favorite, because he was just so darn cute. I love the ease of my Reader. Remember thought, MAAR (Mark All As Read) is not a mortal sin, sometimes it has to be done.

You're making this blogging thing sound like work. I don't have any idea of what you are talking about. Perhaps I will ask my brother what a Reader is. But, if I never find out, I am not going to be upset with you for not dropping by. I have nothing new to say.

It's not a part-time job hammering railroad tracks. Go easier on yourself. I never understood comment-for-comment mentality anyway. If I like you & your content, or even if I don't like it or but find it very interesting & informative, I'll be back whether you leave a comment for me or not. ~Mary

Wow, you sound really organized! *lol* But I know exactly what you mean; awhile back I switched from a small, complicated reader to google reader and it took me awhile to get into the swing and get everything figured out :) Good Luck!

...yeah but once you're sorted all will be smooth sailing again!

I'm so with "moneythoughts" on this one.

Abbot and Costello were favorites of mine --- never listened to them on the radio, but did see them on TV back when it was small, black and white and a treat to watch.

Schedule, schmedule. I blog when I feel like it, and so should you. All I expect is a good read- whenever you want to post one!

Jientje: Ooo. Yes, mistress. Now, please?

Kelley: I don't know ....

Michael: YOU are the point, Old Son. Hang in there.

Tara R: I am discovering that - but then I feel like a baaaad boy. again.

Moneythoughts: Fred, you always have something to say. And I think that's great.

FrankandMary: No, it's not work, but I feel it's a commitment I have taken on myself - just like blog365 was.

Jac: Thank you - I WISH I was organized.

Shadow: Yes - once I get sorted. (I LOVE that expression.)

Patsy: I hear the radio show every once in a while, on XM. I LOVE XM Radio. But I don't much care for their show - they are much better when you can see them.

Loraine: The thing is - I want to post one every day. And I want to be able to read everyone's - everyday.

Sounds like you're asking for a spanking. Or at least a time-out. :) I'm sure you'll get it all figured out soon!

bwahahah! should i spank you now or later? i figure you must be sore from everyone else giving your butt a smack ;)

that being said, i LOVE my reader, and you will too, once you get it situated.

i have to agree with my "Mama" Tara, though. DON'T feel bad about MAAR. Sometimes, it just has to be done.

I've been using Google Reader for almost two years now. Sometimes it takes a while for posts to appear, and I find myself using Twitter links more than ever. I'm neglecting my blog for Twitter. Sad.

I love my reader. It's such a huge help.

Absolutely NO worries, hon! I completely understand. When I switched from Bloglines to Google reader, I never thought I'd get everything straightened out.

I would be totally lost without my Reader service. It's a time saver in the end. I know it's a lot of work right now but when it's finished it'll be worth it. Promise. (Hugs)Indigo

Don't fret so much Lou.
We love you and stick with you, if you want it or not.
And most of us have times when we manage to hop by only once in a while.
Take your time, get it sorted out and DO NOT fret!
