Fore, five, six, seven

Yesterday, a day I had anticipated spending around the house and in the yard (and we all know how much I like yard work),was spent, instead, running errands and taking care of the needs of family.

Which means I have to do the stuff I had thought I would get done yesterday, today.

Normally, that would not be a big deal. It's just that I thought that if I got the stuff done yesterday I needed to get done, I'd be able to get out today and play the first round of golf of the season.

Nope. No strokes today. Unless the strokes are counted in the engine of the riding mower. And the weed whacker.

Meh.

At least the weather is nice.

Awww bummer. I did my yard work last weekend and hope to get some fun outside time today. Hope you get to 'play a round' very soon.

You're suffering from acute Golfolack, eh? But the weed whacker will exercise all of the right golfing muscles, surely, and give you a headstart?

On the upside, you have nice weather! But I agree... a round of golf would be nice! Too bad I live in a truck so chances are limited!

Enjoy a day in the sun, even if it is working.

Life is funny that way continuously changing things unexpectedly. The weather being pleasant is a definite plus. (Hugs)Indigo

It's tough to have enough hours in a week to do everything that must be done and still have time to play. I hope you get to play soon.

Ahhhh, but to be outside. Even riding along on the mower...

I, like you, spent the entire day working in the yard on the beginning of a big project. My muscles are screaming right now!

Jientje: Oh, I'm sorry it's raining by you. Sending sunbeams your way.

Shadow: Maybe. I hope so.

Tara R: I will - by hook or by crook.

Nan: No! Not the weed whacker!!! That thing just hurts my back.

Jac: It was a nice day in the sun. At least that.

Indigo: Definitely a plus. But rain returns Monday.

Patsy: It's ALL play, Patsy. Just that some play is more enjoyable than others.

Ree: Yeah, it was nice ....

Employee: Yours and mine both. I'll massage yours if you'll ... nevermind.

Back to the last post for a minute...yes, twenty to eight is too early to think-I just do and don't think about anything (certainly anything deep like quantum physics).

I'm sorry you didn't get to play golf today. Hopefully, you'll get to play next weekend.
