A Day Off

My brain seems to have checked out for the moment so I think I'm going to take a day here. On the other hand, just deciding to take the day and letting you know about it by blogging it counts as a post so I guess I haven't totally checked out - just kind of a hiccup, I guess.

I wanted to write a Haiku about all of the wonderful - truly amazingly wonderful - people I have met, physically met, in the last little while. But I don't seem to be able to find the words and string them together in any way that makes any sense of what it is I feel about all those people. I will say, however, that I have found each and every one of those I have met to be just the same, in person, as they are on their blogs.

Day off? Hmphf.

Ndinombethe. Really.

You enjoy your day off Lou!
It's amazing when you meet a befriended blogger, how well you know the person, isn't it?

Slowing down Marine? :) I feel the same way this morning, but I have been cleaning house all this week. Have a nice weekend, and stay warm.

Everyone needs to take a break once in a while.

I finally got a chance to check out your blog(s)... Keep up the writing - that's great! Too bad you're all the way out in Plainfield, because I'd have you come out to Algonquin to join our writer's group.

Have a restful break because spring will be right around the corner to shake you awake again.

Sweet little message to let us know you are just taking a break. I took a break myself. Didn't go to work even though I'm not sick. I just needed some me time. To many busy things for too long. :)

I could use a break myself lately, I'm stretching myself way too thin with other writing obligations. I'm missing the serenity of just writing for me. (Hugs)Indigo
