Magical Mystery Tour

This post has nothing to do with tours or music or any of that - I've just always wanted to say that.

Actually, that isn't quite true. Tomorrow, through a little understood ability to travel extensively through Time and Space, I will be posting from Trinidad. Or at least it will seem that way, given that I will be posting on Tash's Fabric of Life as a guest poster. So, on this magical mystery tour I seem to be taking all of a sudden, I have been to Vancouver and posted on the site referenced in the last paragraph of this post, and tomorrow I'll be in Trinidad. Now, if I was gonna do this right, I'd do it in dialect, but I don't tink dem folks down de islands would like dat. So I'll just talk normal, 'K? And, of course, when I was in Vancouver I was talking 'Fairy Tale' (which is just like regular English and doesn't sound a bit like Canadian, eh?) so there was no need to do a Canadian thing.

Other than all of that I have nothing pithy to say. So read the next paragraph, go click on Zoeyjane's stuff, and I'll see you manana in Trinidad.

Zoeyjane of Mommy is Moody is DOING something. She is donating all the revenue from her advertisements on her site, for this month, to To Write Love On Her Arms. Go to Zoeyjane's site and read This Post. She gets paid by 'Impressions'. Just going there helps. Click on her ads - and help more. Click through to To Write Love On Her Arms and see what they do. Just doing that will help, too. This paragraph is going to appear at the end of each post, each day until the end of the month. As a reminder. Just click through. And help. Save the women and men and boys and girls that don't need to live without love, that don't need to suffer addiction and depression, that don't need to die.

Peace.

Thanks for honouring me with a virtual visit my friend! Will have you speaking the lingo when you visit, the flesh and blood type of visit.

Must wrap up some very loose ends at the office and head out to the airport. Ciao!

First there was movable type and from that came books for the masses because manuscripts were very expensive and only the very wealthy could trade ideas through manuscripts. Then came radio, the phone and TV. Radio and TV were controlled by governments, and the phone limited the conversation to two people. But now the Internet and blogging and people can talk to each other all over the world and the government, for the most part China, stays out of it. If you view life on this planet as a constant struggle to reach new people and share new ideas, then the Internet takes away the hurdle of distance, and blogging brings us all together. I will not be around in 50 or perhaps even 25 years, but I would love to see how this new form of communication will bring us all together. This is just the beginning.
