And I also owe her the promised picture. Without further ado ...
This picture was taken in October, 1952. I just 7 years old. Notice the fashion faux pas. Dressed from head to toe in white, and it's after the 15th of September. But then, in MY neighborhood, they didn't really give two hoots about fashion rules. And now, as an adult, I can look back at the cost associated with that outfit (required by the church and school) and how hard it probably hit my parents.

Actually, that's the stance my son uses to pee into the toilet. He doesn't have a whole lot of accuracy.

Awww. Did the girls wear the veils then? I didn't have a veil, but I did have something with flowers in a crown thing. Love the first communion shot.

Great Pic....I've just been scanning etc. old pictures of grandparents, great-grand parents, parents, etc. so that i can post those on my photo blog. I looking back at days gone by.
