Actually, as I write this it is Friday night and I'm going to bank this post. We went to the Jackhammers game and they won. And while they were winning the Cubs were winning in St. Louis. All in all, with the fireworks after the Hammers game, it was an excellent 4th of July evening. Cool and smokey.
I have to bank this because I am a nimrod. I am playing 9 holes of golf the first thing in the morning and I figured I'd be home about 9:30 or 10 and then I'd have some time before I dragged #3 son out into the hinterlands of the back yard to do some damage to the foliage. And during that 'time' I thought I would have, I planned to blog. I had COMPLETELY forgotten about the trip to the SIL's house for a family get-to-gether. So I'm not going to have that time I thought I would have.
So, if I have half a chance, I will. Otherwise, see ya Sunday.

I'm happy to hear you had a nice 4th... sounds like the BEST all-American day... baseball and fireworks!! :) cool and smokey sounds like some slang term from the 50's lol (maybe just to me!!)
I hope you had a nice time at your SIL's house and enjoyed the get-to-gether. They are usually very nice.
And, golf... it has got to be good no matter how you play... you are with your buddies, on the beautiful greens getting some fresh air and having fun!! :) Hope you did well too!! ;)
