What follows is in response to 100 Word Challenge authored by the venerated Velvet Verbosity. I had thought to do a 100 word Haiku, but it's not Friday - and I really wasn't happy with what I did, anyway.
"Want to go upstairs?", he asked.
"Nah, I don't think I'm in the mood."
"Oh, come on. It could be fun."
"Yeah, I know your idea of fun", she said.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I don't want to get into that, right now."
"No. What did you mean?", he asked again.
"Okay .. It's always you, you, you and it takes five minutes and boom, it's all over. I'm left hanging and you go to sleep. Okay?"
He opened the bag and showed her the 'toys'.
"These could take an hour, or so", he said.
"Oh ... at least", she said.
This one was fun. Actually, I sorta wish I had another few hundred words to play with. I'm willing to bet I could have raised my readership numbers a bit.
For those who asked (one, I think) about the picture from Wordless Wednesday, it was taken from the deck of a boat which had just passed under the Golden Gate. In June of 2005, while we were on vacation. Taken with a Sony, DSC-S70. I love San Francisco.
Happy 4th of July. I know it's tomorrow, but I'm going to jump the gun by a day and say it now, because I'm not sure how many will have the time to blog tomorrow. So say it today - Happy 4th of July. And be safe.

Oh, that's a good one - leaves me grinning big time :D!
And a happy 4th of July to you and your family :)!
I loved it!
Gunna show it to MPS *snigger*

i would love to be able to go to SF for vacation one day!!
happy 4th to you also. i knew it was coming.. i knew it was friday, i knew today was thursday, but i some how forgot it all. :S i'm loosing my mind. lol
thank you so much for all of your thoughts, support and well wishes for my mom!! :) you have no idea how much it means to me.
have a great 4th, and be safe... the roads are always so busy with traffic! enjoy!
xoxoxo
nicole: I am SO GLAD I left you grinning.
kelley: I was hoping you would like it.
Jennifer: I will be checking back, today, on your Mom. Fingers crossed.
I see, Lou. Going for the soft porn audience, are we?
this is the second of my "daily blogs" (as in blogs I read daily) that has a pornographic twist to it...
Brilliant 100 words though - doubt I could do it. You're incredibly talented
thegrandview: Yes, Mike, I am. Unabashedly so. Got to keep 'em interested, don't you know?
tash: I have read your writing - and yes you could. 100 Words, that is. I assume that's what you were referring to. and yes, there is a 'twist' here. Ask Annie. SHE'LL tell you I'm twisted.
So......how long DID it take?
Happy fourth to you, too. I'll be around.
I've got to hand it to you, you're one hell of a writer, and I enjoyed every word of those hundred, ( didn't count them though!). I would like another scoop of the same please?
Oh and yes ...
Belgium IS green too.
That's true.
queen goob: I'll be around, too. And it took ... a looooonnnngggg time.
Jientje: Thank you. More? Perhaps a bit later. But I'm beginning to wonder about my audience, though. I think they may be even more twisted than I am. My Tuesday Tale elicited calls for stories about an Alien Jesus with a penchant for sex. I love you guys.
LOVE it. Gotta love a guy with a bag of good toys.
Thanks for visiting me!
Oh, Alien Jesus wouldn't need a bag of toys....he'd be like a sexual Inspector Gadget.
And his best gadget would be a cloning device so his lady could be serviced right and left.....so to speak.
There'd be toe-sucking Alien Jesus (1), and on up!
It would be a gang bang without the guilt and occasionally ugly incident.....
Alien Jesus? Germ free. Pregnancy free--unless getting knocked up gets you off. Oh, and getting knocked up by Alien Jesus could even be an immaculate affair, if you weren't in the mood...
I'm willing to bet your hits more than double today :-D
Gotta love a man bearing gifts ;)
Wishing you and yours a safe and happy 4th!
Amy: glad you liked it. Oh, and I'll be back.
Christy: My goodness. You seem to have this clear picture in your mind ... so far, your picture is better than mine.
DOH! Amy got my line. Teach me to dawdle over breakfast.
Anyway... I, too, love a man with a bag of toys.
5 minutes. Bad. An hour... GOOD.
Sandy: "man bearing gifts". I don't know that I ever said this was autobiographical - but I HAVE been known to do whatever it takes.
Hyphen mama: Yeah, SWMBO thinks so too.
UUUmmmm... yea those next 100 would have definately rocked your numbers. Teehhee... it is getting hot in here.
I laughed at Mike's comment. He's so dry. Happy 4th dear. I hope you and the Mrs enjoy some fireworks.
omg I loved it. Excellent work, as always. I'm still chuckling although I have to say alot is over the other commenters. You guys are great
Now THAT was more my speed! *fans self*
Sounds like we can count on a sequel, huh?
Wow! You're a spicy guy today.
Very clever 100 word story. You're such a good writer Lou. Happy 4th back at you.
Vikki
Oh! I've come over all hot and dizzy!
I like those hundred words, Lou.
When can we have the next hundred?
OHmommy: I don't know what's more fun: writing something like that orseeing the reactions.
AFF: Yes, there were fireworks.
renee daniels: Glad you liked. And yes, my readers are FABULOUS.
alice: Fasten your seat belt. Things are going to be getting better.
tenakim: You betcha.
redchair: Thank you, Vikki.
tiff: Which is why I'm more fun at a distance.
LOL....I love the redchair comment, "Wow. You're a spicy guy today."
My thoughts exactly.
love it!
Now that's my kinda stuff right there! Sexed up 100 Words are the BOMB.
Lots of Love to You Lou...
That's a lot of fun. I tend toward racier stuff at times (look up my post titled Chapeau), but was concerned that the VV site owner wouldn't appreciate it (past experience raising its head here).
SHG: I suppose VV has her boundaries, but I haven't run into them - at least, not in the Challenges. She seems to appreciate 'racier' as much as the next guy.
