slightly political Haiku Friday

Haiku Friday

A moment in time
It's all we have to spend here
one moment in time

What we choose to do
With that one moment in time
is what defines us

The great among us
are the hardest ones to find
light 'neath a basket

the search for greatness
marks this, our moment in time
for we seek one now

the question now is
can we, and have we, found one?
and will he be great?

I think we have found a great one but not sure if he will win. I love me a good political haiku.

Glad you were able to get this done betwixt illness and rest.

I personally worry he won't be as great as we need him to be.

I'm sorry you were sick, but sickness didn't get in the way of personal greatness!! You can have my babies any day, Lou. ;)
