Framed!

I bought a frame today for "Still Life Under Lamp". See it below:

I'm not quite sure how this is going to look on some monitors. I took this under incandescent lighting and then played with the color temperature in Picasa, to cool it down some. Make the white frame actually white and not yellow.

It's all in the presentation.

I can never get my color temps right on Picasa. The 2 pics I posted today were done in different ways. UGH! I need a Picasa for Dummies.

The color temp looks just right on my monitor (well, at least, the frame looks white, and the blues look all lovely and watery). What a nice picture -- and a good frame choice.

Cool. I just don't have the patience and THE TALENT.

How much did it cost you? I love going to trift stores and buying really nice frames for cheap.

OHmommy: Color temps drive me nuts, especially in Picasa. I'd rather use photoshop, but Picasa is quicker.

myst_72: Thank you. That's kind.

Sandy: I've been lucky in that I've been able to find what I have in mind when I've looked for frames.

Lady Language: Thank you. I think I'm better at picking out frames than I am at painting.

Cablegirl: And I found you the same way. Welcome. take off your .... shoes, yeah shoes .. and stay a while.

Emily: Thank you. Cubs win.

mommytime: Thanks. I got lucky and found just what I wanted.

Audobon_Ron: Have you tried?

You did a nice job color correcting that, Lou.

Love the colours, love the painting, love the frame.

Can I have it?

rebecca: Thank you. Good to know.

Huckdoll: When I get the courage to let it go, it's yours.

OH! I'm so proud of you! You do wonderful work.

BTW - that would look perfect n my dining room; the red look like a perfect match!

Hmmm. I've left comments on each of your posts and am just now realizing some are not posting. Heck! I'll have to start paying closer attention when I leave a comment.

I love this frame. It's perfect. I often times have difficulty choosing the frame that best represents the art.
