The great breast feeding thing

Today is the Great Breastfeeding Blog-in over at Lotus' site. Or something like that, anyway. Everybody is supposed to tell their breastfeeding stories - good, bad and otherwise. Personally, I don't have any BF stories to tell, because, being MALE, BF is beyond my purview. I am told, however, that as a MALE I actually do have all of the necessary plumbing parts and pieces, it's just that none of them work. Which is fine by me - I just can't see myself in a sports bra. With that little flip down latch thingy - for easy access. If I had to wear a bra - I mean, if that sort of thing were necessary for a MAN - I'd wear one that makes 'em bounce when you walk. Because I've always found that sort of thing attractive. Much rather watch bouncing boobs than to see them all squished flat and held in check by some elastic monstosity that is only designed to take away my tickle.

Be sure to check out all the linky things in Lotus' site - that's where all the other stories are. but not this one. Like I said. I'm a MAN - so I don't have one. Well ... I DO, but Annie would kill me. I mean, it WAS an accident. And I did clean the whole wall, not just where it sprayed.

Hi Lou,

Thanks for your comments.

I'm right with you about the bounce thing. We just grew up in the same period when boobs were associated with sexy. I guess we have a whole lot of men to thank for that, and many of them were photographers and artists! I used to attend a live drawing class every Thursday evening and would work on my powers of observation drawing nude women. Some day I'll email you a photo of one of my better drawings. I worked very hard on the breasts to capture them in all their beauty.

About your trip to London, I hope you get a chance to take a train ride. Cambridge isn't too far and the University is beautiful. I bet it hasn't changed in 40 years. Why should it, it was a beautiful place. Do you take digital and film?

LOL... picturing you in a sports bra with camera in hand.

Thanks for that silly image. I will be laughing all day.

What? You don't have moobs?

Fred: I'll be shooting digital - a Canon 30D. I have several lenses - I should be able to cover most shooting situations.

ohmommy: You mean, you're not going to ask about the 'accident'?

witchypoo: Well, I do, but they would only qualify for a training bra - and what's the point?

Nah, thanks, breastfeeding stories make me squeeze my boobies and run away ;)

And Bra's, pft, I only wear one when I really go somewhere.
Sports Bras are nice for Sport, but that's about it;)

LOL - I love you how find a way to partake in our womanly adventures! Annie has a real find. My hubby has a very similar sense of humor so I imagine we will be together for as long as you two have.

Ah, I remember my time of breastfeeding fondly.

My boobs were much bigger back then. *sighs*

You are a perv.

I think I could still join in on this....but I have to admit that yesterday we were a bit busy. :-| I'm sure you've seen it by now! :-S

LceeL said...

Lady Language: Actually, i prefer a more 'hands on' approach, but this way is fun, too.

Warriorwoman: Thanks.

Elizabeth: No comment.

Allison: I never claimed to be anything but. One of the few privileges left to a man my age. Well, not exactly, but if I said anything more, Annie would kill me. and yes, I have seen.

the problem with those bouncing boobie gals is they only bounce for a few years before they are knocking on their kneecaps...

LceeL said...

Kelley, dear kelley: Fortunately, there seems to be a never-ending supply of newly bouncing ones. And as for those kneecap slappers, when I get to be all old and grey and bent over, they'll be down there - waiting for me.

ROFL! I had to giggle at this post :) Yup, that spraying thing...I've SO BEEN THERE! Good thinking not posting about it though ;)

*sigh* I wanted to post for this meme, but it's been too crazy. I was able to breastfeed for 18 months, and worked closely with hundreds of new moms breastfeeding, and boy I have an extensive vault of stories :)

Men can actually breastfeed. Guys who do it are known colloquially as "milkmen".
