What I could have done

Last night I was stuck. So I borrowed a 'word' from someone else and posted it. In the name of frustrated brevity. The point is, I didn't have to. The point is, I shouldn't have. There is something else I could have and should have spoken to - and I would have if I wasn't all wrapped up in myself. After I'd gone to bed and was drifting off to sleep I realized that Veronica, from Sleepless Nights, is moving this week and we have to plan our toast to her and her family's new home. And this requires just a little bit of planning, because where they are, in Tasmania, is 16 hours ahead of us here in the middle of the good old US of A. What that means is that by the time most of us have had our first cup of coffee in the morning it's already the next day in Tasmania. Veronica is going to move (as least the plan so far) on the 1st of March - Saturday - but that's going to be the 29th of February for most of us. So this is going to require a little malice aforethought - well, not malice, because we love the girl and her little Amy, and her Mom (oops!, MUM), at Frog Ponds rock, and the never seen, but oft referred to, Nat. So get ready. I soon as Lotus and I get the mechanics worked out, we'll get a toast going for Veronica.

I can't even pretend to understand your last post but whatever is up, I hope it feels better soon.

Your 100 words are up over at my place. :) Thanks once again for participating. I'll be leaving in about 3 hours for the airport. Not sure if I'll be doing much blogging while there, but we'll see. I'll try to at least post photos!

Lou, what a gentleman you are, always putting others before yourself. I'll definitely be raising a glass of cran-raspberry to her. In fact, I should probably go read her. I think I've been before, but I'll have to check.

As a painter, I thought for certain you could make a personal connection with the painting on of liquid eyeliner. Don't let the "natural look" keep you from being the finely polished diva I know you to be!
