I have been reading a blog called Cookiebitch (and for you young mothers out there, the name has NOTHING to do with a furry blue hand puppet) and she is hilarious. Veronica at Sleepless Nights sent me off in that direction, and I'm glad she did. I enjoy reading Veronica (and her Mum) - hers is one of several blogs I read from Down Under. Did you know it's hot there this time of year? I mean, melting chocolate hot. Which means there's some occasionally grumpy women down there. Of course, my straying to the land Down Under doesn't make me unfaithful to Sandy, Lotus or Siobhan - women I have come to admire and respect for their wit and courage. At least, I hope it doesn't. I just go there for the accent.

Last night's Art class was very informative. I didn't stay for the whole thing. After all, I was just there to assess George as a teacher, and I was impressed. So I didn't have to stay for the whole class - just long enough to make up my mind that he is going to be a good teacher for me.

I have gotten some positive feedback regarding the two photos I put up yesterday. Thanks for that, I really appreciate it. I will post more as we go along, but right now my focus is on painting, and any time I devote to photography is going to take away from the painting - which is going slowly enough, as it is. I am going to London at the end of March - and I am taking my camera. I will be taking many photos while there. Some of them are bound to be good enough to post. I plan on taking some shots from the EYE - the big Ferris Wheel along the Thames. They ought to be interesting. We'll see.
