Monday Meanders 10-19

The Bears lost last night. Mental mistakes cost them the game. And Atlanta has got themselves a good young Quarterback.

Farmville is a terrible time soak! And addictive. And I'm hooked.

Jientje arrives in three weeks (approx). I SO hope I can make her stay here in Chicago memorable.

PeeWee football is done. I've got some GREAT shots. I'll be putting them up from time to time.

I never got to the yard yesterday. The kamikaze squirrels knocked out the power again at the plant, yesterday. I spent all yesterday afternoon and evening working on the problems engendered by the blackout.

It's almost time to put the riding mower away - I have GOT to hit the lawn one more time. And soon.

I've been a bit lazy about answering comments. I WILL be better. Promise.

Ndinombethe.

Muwah. Sorry the Bears lost. I'm all broken up about it, too.

:)

I won't even LOOK at Farmtown. Nope. The last thing I need right now is an addictive time soaker. I will not be sold on the Facebook crack.

Doesn't she like where she lives now? Is Memorable near La Grange?

I'm very much looking forward to my stay in Chicago, and I'm very curious to find out what you're planning to do? Are you going to organize that meet up now, like you said you would?
I hope the squirrels will be good when I'm there. No kamikaze stunts while I'm in town eh?

About Farmville,I have SEEN how hooked you are! Tsk tsk!!

I, too, need to mow one more time before putting the riding mower away. I hate my riding mower.

I agree with Velvet on Farmville. I don't play. Bengals lost too. But so did the Ravens. I hope you will let me know when the lady from Belgium is going to be in Chicago. I would like to try and make it up there and meet you all.

Bills won, woo hoo. Didn't watch, I'm too disappointed with how they are doing in general. Definitely a "Get rid of Dick" fan! :-|

I'm totally addicted to Farm Town, Farmville, Cafe World, Roller Coaster Kingdom (not happy with the tour feature though), and Mafia Wars. Got members of my family addicted too (my dad and my brother in law). T's big thing is Dragon Wars, but he plays that over on myspace! Takes a lot of balancing.

Can you hit my yard when you're done? I've been nagging my husband for a week-- it's out of control!

Honey, absolutely NO worries. I didn't read blogs last week because I'm sitting here in Georgia watching my community's leadership implode and listening to people who live a mile or less from me who don't know me say horrible things about me.

Yeah. It's been nasty.

So, you do what you have to do and we'll be here when you return! Much love!

I can't believe I didn't watch football the weekend. I saw a snippet of the Titan/Patriots blizzard but only a few minutes and it made me cold so I stopped.

I hit the yard today myself. I hope it's my last mow.

kamikaze squirrels, huh? We have kamikaze iguanas. Very pesky.

Tracey: The REALLY irritating part is the guy at work who is such a Tom Brady fan - he was unBEARable today. :)

Velvet Verbosity: I was resistant - but LM got me started.

Audubon Ron: A little further West.

Jientje: Meet ups - Yes. Many, I hope.

Maggies Mind: I am really looking forward to her visit.

Tuli: One more time .. and soon. But not when it's wet. I can't stand mowing the lawn when it's wet.

Moneythoughts: I WILL let you know, Fred.

Allison: Balancing? All of those? How?

Scary Mommy: I'll be right over. Just send me your GPS coordinates.

Coal Miner's GD: Obviously - they don't know you - if they did, they would LOVE you.

Tara R: They played in a BLIZZARD!!

Heather: Well, I'm not devastated - just disappointed. A lot.

HollyATOM: Iguanas? We don't need no iguanas!! I keep hopping that one day we'd run out of squirrels - but NO, not these guys.

*sigh* my mower gets used year round. Although I get delays in between uses, it gets used every month of the year. Maybe though, that's a good thing!
