Well, maybe not the Eagle, but when Grannie found out when we left - and when we got home, she said she thought maybe I had a rocket stuck up my butt. We made it from Branson to Plainfield, over 500 miles, in 8.5 hours. And we stopped for gas, to eat, and one potty stop.
But we are home safe and today, Sunday, we are going to go about getting ready to resume our 'normal existence'.
I have so much to catch up on.
Over the next week or so, I will bore you to tears with vacation pictures.
Like I said, back to normal.

You're back and you're safe, that's the main thing! I'm looking forward to you boring us. That would be a first!
We must like being bored, cuz we're longing to see them!

Glad to hear you're back home. As I wrote yesterday, I'm looking froward to reading more about your trip and seeing some pictures.
Yay!
Leaving for and returning home can be the best parts of a family trip, lol. Rest up!
I, for one, am looking forward to photos and being 'bored'!
Jientje: Well, I'm going to try real hard.
Nan: Well, hang in there, then. It starts tomorrow.
Moneythoughts: The surprising thing was the 26 miles per gallon and the cruise control was never set lower than 75. 531 miles.
Shadow: Thank you, Shadow. It is so nice to be home.
Tara R: Pictures and stories coming.
Eric S: There was a lot of R & R. And some Mike's Hard Lemonade. And some wine. And some Beck's.
Loraine: Get some rest, Loraine. Pictures start tomorrow.
Joyce-Anne: Tomorrow. And thanks.
Huckdoll: I will rest up, eventually. Today, I am sorting pictures.
Employee: Well, be careful what you ask for. I'm just sayin'.
Never boring my dear. Glad you're home safe and sound - just hope the week back isn't too terrible. ;-)
Wow! That is a lot of road coverage in such little time. So glad to hear you all made it back safely!
Glad y'all are back! I think I was on the road at the same time doing the Indy to Tulsa thing. Lots and lots and lots of driving.
