I worked on The Kid last evening. The story for this coming Thursday is done - maybe a tweak or two yet, but done for the most part. So I've started on the next one - Albuquerque - and things have kind of taken a turn. Suddenly we've taken a look at his very sordid past ... and it IS sordid. It is in dreams, again, but a little different in the form the dream takes - he sees the dream like a movie, he watches himself from outside the flow of the dream. It is going to be hard to read, I'm afraid. We'll see. It is rough right now, but the form is there, the direction is clear and the deeds are done. Ooooo, the deeds are done.

joyce-anne: Neither can I. It's like, I know where the rest of the story is going, and I thought I had it pretty well in mind, but even within the structure I have planned, in my head, there are, apparently, still going to be surprises in store for me.
