The CUBS are off to a slow start in the Spring Training games out in Arizona. I hope this is not a sign of things to come. I truly hope.
Today I interview for a job. Hopefully, all will go well. I'll post a selfie as I'm on my way (on Facebook).
The Bears have decided to part ways with Brandon Marshall. It would seem to be a smart "clubhouse" move, but as far as the "field" is concerned, one has to question the wisdom of giving up your most productive receiver for a 5th round draft pick. At least he's going to the AFC.
I donated a number of XL shirts to Goodwill, yesterday. It is, after all, time to start thinning the herd. I have WAY too many shirts and they're all XLs. I am not an XL any longer. So I have to either give them away or donate them, as I don't ever intend to allow myself to get that big again.
When I go to my interview, today, I will be wearing a "Large". For the first time in years. And a tie. For the second time in three days.
Last Thursday, I made a "Swirly Noodle Taco Skillet", a recipe I found in a book called "Dump Dinners". It was delicious. My sons thought so, as well. I am becoming quite the cook. I just wish I was better at planning menus.
What measure of time, do you suppose, is it going to take for me to adjust to the change in time?
Ndinombethe. Ubuntu.

An hour. ;-)
An hour. ;-)
Good luck today, bro. Knock their socks off!
...sometimes, the addition is by subtraction... the Pistons improved by getting rid of their best player but clubhouse liability... same goes for the Bears... and it could be a sign of Cutler's future as a Bear is nearing an conclusion...
Dump Dinners sounds delicious... I will have to look for that book...
And I hope your next entry is about the job that you were hired for..!
