CUBS split 4 with the Cards over the weekend. The new guys are waking up the rest of the league to what they can expect to face when they play the CUBS next year. And Jorge Soler is a Beast.
Today is, of course, a National Holiday, and a week from today is, of course, a day of Personal Import. My birthday. The last birthday in my 60s.
I've taken active steps to start losing a bit more weight. At 201 lbs. I'm still a bit overweight - but not as much as I was when I was 250. That said, my BMI has changed because I've SHRUNK an inch. Of course, It's been more than 10 years since my height was actually measured so I have no idea when the shrinkage started, but I've gone from 5'9.5" to 5'8.5". That said, I still have a 30 inch inseam, so I'm assuming the shrinkage is actually in my torso.
Anyway.
I am going to go on a "Low Glycemic Load, Mediterranean Diet". At least, that's what my Doctor told me it's called. And she should know. She's on the same diet herself.
Have a lovely day, today. And try not to take it too hard when you go back to work, tomorrow. Those of you who DO work, that is.

Enjoy your holiday, I'm extremely jealous. Told hubby last night that I refused to accept that today is Monday and thus would not be at work. Didn't work, I'm here...
But that's me, you have a fab day and good luck with your diet!!!
Good luck with the new diet, and enjoy your day off.
I'm so proud of your success so far at getting fit. Keep up the good work! And about that shrinkage thing? It must run in the family. I was down two inches before my knee replacements. Haven't been measured since, but my legs have. If my therapist was right, I've picked up a little of the lost height.
