CUBS lost 2 out of 3 over the weekend. 'Nuff said.
I spent most of the last week in, on my way to, or on my way home from, Colorado. #2 Son and his wife have moved into a really nice apartment in Loveland, Co and I helped them move.
It was exhausting.
Thursday, 1pm, #3 son and I got on the highway headed home. Friday morning, 4am, we pulled into the driveway.
The drive was exhausting.
I woke up at 9:30 on Friday morning. I had things to do, places to go, etc.
But I was exhausted.
Saturday, Mother nature intruded with thunder, lightning and torrential rains. The 60 foot willow tree at the back of my yard broke and feel into my neighbor's yard. Yesterday, friends of mine and I cut the huge sucker into smaller pieces and cleared my neighbor's patio. It was hot, sweaty work.
It was exhausting.
I'm at work, today. For the first time in a week, I'm not exhausted.

...but it is a biological FACT that when you are in the service of others, your body produces the oxycontin and other hormones that make you feel good... and so, you will LIVE LONGER...
...for a long life, do... for a good life, do GOOD... and your life will be long...
